Activision Explores Depths of the Oceans in SeaWorld(R): Shamu(R)'S Deep Sea Adventures

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov 01, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- For the first time ever on the game consoles, children can enjoy the excitement of underwater exploration and fast-paced adventure with the beloved SeaWorld killer whale and his friends in SeaWorld: Shamu's Deep Sea Adventures video game, available now from Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq:ATVI).

Combining entertainment and education, players assume the role of Shamu and other SeaWorld animals to rescue Shamu's aquatic friends. Players solve puzzles, perform animal behaviors, gather collectibles, lead fin-raising chases and attempt daring rescues as they travel though various missions in an effort to solve the mystery of unexplained disruptions affecting the aquarium.

In SeaWorld: Shamu's Deep Sea Adventures, kids travel through 20 exciting missions and eight underwater environments from Shamu Stadium to the ocean depths of Atlantis. Players are introduced to some of the ocean's most fascinating species such as electric eels, sea urchins and vampire squid in their unique habitats. In this educational adventure, kids embark on an undersea journey as they take Shamu and Horacio, the ageless manatee, to Atlantis and battle Poseidon and his giant beast, the evil Kraken.

The game is currently available for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, Xbox(R) video game system from Microsoft and the Nintendo GameCube(R) for a suggested retail price of $29.99. The Nintendo DS(TM) and Game Boy(R) Advance titles will ship on November 8 and carry a suggested retail price of $29.99 and $19.99 respectively. SeaWorld: Shamu's Deep Sea Adventures has been rated "E" for Everyone by the ESRB.
